Objectives:  At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe the principles of nonoperative management in the acute and chronic phases of recovery of SCI

2.   Identify characteristics for patient selection for tendon or nerve transfers

3.   Name three types of tendon transfers to improve distal use of the UE

4.   Identify two outcome measurement tools for distal UE function

5.   Describe the principles of post-surgical management for Tendon or Nerve Transfers and Contracture Release procedures.
